 About the Role

We’re seeking a confident, creative, and highly organised individual to support our Director during a period of maternity leave cover.

As Executive Assistant, you’ll be more than a diary manager – you’ll act as a thought partner to the Director, offering both strategic and administrative support. You’ll help shape ideas, track priorities, and navigate a fast-changing schedule with calm and clarity. You’ll also handle internal matters with upmost discretion, liaise with external stakeholders, and contribute to high-level planning.

What You’ll Do
Executive Support

  • Coordinate the Director’s calendar and ensure priority meetings are scheduled and prepared
  • Attend and minute key meetings, ensuring clarity and accountability in follow-ups
  • Organise, monitor, and respond to emails or messages on behalf of the Director when required
  • Draft internal and external communications, including stakeholder updates and reports
  • Maintain and update project and task trackers used by the Director
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and briefing documents for board or external meetings
  • Supporting the Director by taking on tasks as required with minimal supervision

Project & Strategic Administration

  • Liaise with staff to gather updates on operations and business development tasks
  • Support the Director in monitoring strategic objectives and internal priorities
  • Help track performance data
  • Assist with internal policy reviews and company-wide strategic initiatives
  • Contribute feedback and insights to support growth, planning, and decision-making

Communications & Representation

  • Draft and proofread high-level content, ensuring professionalism and clarity
  • Coordinate and polish communications involving the Director’s external representation
  • Facilitate clear and consistent information flow between internal teams and stakeholders

About You

  • Experience in executive administration, business operations, or a high-trust coordination role
  • Exceptional organisational and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written English with confidence producing reports, briefings, and formal emails
  • High level of discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive matters
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and online project tracking tools
  • Experience in social housing or non-profit administration (desirable but not essential)
