The various needs and personal challenges experienced by our clients mean that they often have difficulty finding a safe place to call home. These needs include leaving care, breakdown of family relationships, mental health needs, displacement, trauma, probation, and exclusion from employment and/or educational opportunities.
At GBCH we know that appropriate accommodation, paired with targeted and holistic personal development opportunities, are key to combatting the social exclusion faced by our clients. Our philosophy is to offer engaging, non-judgmental support through the provision of interventions that fulfil not only the needs of the individual, but also their wants and aspirations.
VISION & VOICE
Our vision, through the provision of tailored, person-centered support and quality accommodation, is to equip adults with complex needs with the skills and resources they need to become effective, positive, active and engaged members of their communities.
A vital part of achieving this vision is our experienced team of Support Workers that work directly with our clients to support their ongoing social, emotional, mental and physical development and wellbeing.
At GBCH we believe it is essential that our clients are empowered and supported to make positive choices about their life and what they want to achieve. We strive to ensure that we listen effectively to the wants and needs of our clients, and that their voices are accurately and consistently represented throughout the support process.
